Tyvek makes tough, durable sheet products stronger than paper and more versatile than fabrics. Tyvek is a product by DUPONT which can be made into a wide range of durable products including: Booties, Clothing, Hazmat Su its, Envelopes, Shoes Tyvek is made from high-density polyethylene fibers, this spunbonded olefin is an extremely versatile material that combines some of the properties of paper, film and cloth.
Typical Applications for Tyvek include:
agriculture, food processing, medical applications for use as modesty garments, fiberglass manufacturing, spray painting / finishing operations, lead abatement, asbestos abatement, mold remediation, and other applications involving dry chemicals, dirt and radioactive dust.
